We watched a video this evening that went over things we need to know for those first days and weeks with the new baby. I can say with all honesty that I know more about breastfeeding now than I ever cared to. Anyway the movie started in the hospital room just after
the birthing. My throat got a little dry and I could feel my nerves
tensing just thinking about what our experience will be, so obviously
I’m gonna need to psych myself up for the big day.
There were some tips scattered here and there though that I wouldn’t have thought about.
For example, file their fingernails while they are sleeping.
One: I can’t believe I’m going to be cutting someone else’s fingernails.
Two: Doing it while they are sleeping keeps them from pitching a fit. SCORE!
Also, apparently babys poop… a lot … who knew?
