Kate is a whopping 5 weeks old now and in the past week, lots of things have been going on. We went to the pediatrician for her 1 Month Wellness visit last Tuesday and Kate at the time weighed 8lbs 2oz and was 21 inches long. She is a growing machine!! Wednesday she attended yoga/pilates class with me at Aunt Kim’s house and she was an angel the entire time! :O Wednesday afternoon Missy came by to watch her because her 4 legged brother was sick! Kory and I both got some real fun from Bosco last week. 
Thursday we went to visit Deanna and Noah for movie day!! Oh boy adult time! Overall, Kate and Noah both let their moms watch a movie with minimal interruption and even squeeze in some conversation. Friday Granna came over and spent some quality time with our little sugar so 4 legged sister could go to the doctor for toe nail trim and her shots. So now everyone is up to date with their doctor’s visits and feeling great! 
Nanny Jill and Cousin Lila also stopped by for a visit on Saturday. Kate was so excited to see her big cousin again and to show her Aunt how much she had grown since her last visit. Also on Saturday I thought we were regressing after I had been so proud that Kate had been going 4-5 hours between feedings…. Saturday morning she started wanted to eat every 3 hours again….I was not to excited about that. But after a big day of fussiness and eating every 3 hours Saturday night Kate went 9 hours between 7:30pm and 4:30am between feedings and during that time she slept from 10pm to 4:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kory and I did not know what to do, we both kept waking up listening to her little grunts that we have grown accustom to and finally around 2:30 Kory was so concerned he went and slept in the recliner in her room. No worries though she was just fine, I guess all the eating and fussing all day Saturday smooth wore her out! Sunday seemed to be a repeat of Saturday during the day, but last night was heaven! She slept from 10pm to 2:30am and then from 3:30am to 8:30am. We will see what this week has in store for us. Also Sunday evening she went for her 1st stroll in her stroller…. we made a trip around the neighborhood. We made it through with only one meltdown.
Just in general, Kate seems to be more alert to her surroundings every day. Each day she has more time that she is awake and she just gets cuter everyday! (Along with looking more and more like her Daddy)
