I remembered

Okay, so after coming home I remembered the other new things that Kate has been up to.  She laughed for the first time on Monday….I have yet to get her to do it.  I was sitting in our bedroom getting ready for our anniversary date and Kory was playing “Peek-A-Boo” with Kate in her room and heard a little something and Kory shouts “Did you hear that, she laughed” Then she proceeded to do it like three more times…. all of which I only got to hear, not see.  Every evening I have come home and tried everything I could think of and still have not gotten her to laugh for me.  Granted she has not felt her best this week… that is what I am telling myself anyway

She can also grab and hold things for short periods of time now.  She will grab her rattle and shake it a little….mostly she tries to fit it in her mouth.  She is also really working on sitting up.  We have been doing “exercises” where I help her sit up by holding her hands and now she can come up a couple of inches by herself.  I am so proud Kory…..we need to order that bumbo!

Okay so there is a long story to go with this photo and I just have to tell it. As I mentioned Monday was our 7th Anniversary and we finally got to go on a date and Aarin kept Kate while we were out. We got home and the following picture is what we found. Kate was all dressed in her PJs with a pretty red bow in her hair to match her pajamas. If that was not funny enough, Aarin said that they had tried on a couple of PJs before deciding on those. I guess a girl has to look pretty in her sleep too. Thanks Aunt Aarin!!
