I am on my lunch break and trying to pass the time, so I thought I would make a quick post about the new things Miss Kate has been up to.
She has discovered her feet and she just LOVES to grab them. I am really thinking soon they are going to end up shoved in her mouth like her hands do. If I have not mentioned before I will say again, Kate loves her hands (I think they must taste like chocolate cake to her). She does not like to just put her thumb or one finger in her mouth, it must be the entire hand! Needless to say, you don’t want to hold her hand much 
She has also figured out how to manipulate us….she is only 4 months old, what is up!!! In the evenings when we get home she pretty much must have someone in the room with her or we hear about it. She has got the fake whining/crying down. I can walk out for 2 seconds and on she goes and I walk back in and she just grins up at me…she is so bad! 
It is so cute right now though, but I know it will not be so cute a year from now. Oh well.
She has been consecutively sleeping in her crib; however, only a few nights has she slept through the entire night since she has been sick. Interrupted sleep tends to wear on us. Oh well, that is what the weekend is for, right?
Let’s see what else? I had been thinking of a whole bunch of new things, but that is all I can think of now.
In other news, she is sick again (me too). I am not sure if I got it from her or she got it from me. Anyway, we are both super snotty. She absolutely HATES the bulb syringe to clean her nose. If she even sees the thing now, she starts screaming…. and it sounds like I just dropped her on the floor or something. Last night she was extra pitiful after I finished cleaning her nose. She poked her bottom lip out and just sat there looking for her daddy for sympathy….which he so easily gave her and they called me dirty names! It really is for her own good, no need to call child protective services….I really am not intentionally torturing her!
I will try to get some pictures posted this week, so ya’ll can get your Kate fix.
It’s definitely no fun when Mama Bear and Baby Bear are both sick at the same time. Hope you two are feeling better soon — I know I really need a Kate fix!!!!!
Reynolds HATES his bulb syringe too. I am surprised that y’all can’t hear him screaming at your house when I clean out his nose.
Just get used to it: the whole daddy’s girl thing. Caroline and Chris talk about me behind my back all the time, and its not good. I can tap Chris and she says, "Don’t hit Daddy!" He can hit me with a frying pan, knocking me unconscious, and she turns the other way…I’ve claimed Haley for myself.
