What a week!

Posted by on May 1, 2009

Okay let me try this again….

I finally had to go back to work on Monday and Kate was supposed to start daycare also.  But….she managed to pull the “I’m Sick” card and sweet talked her Daddy into spending the day at home with her.  But really, our sweet little baby has gotten her first cold.  I have only taken her to the pediatrician twice now…. I keep thinking the doc will waive a magic wand around her and fix her.  The poor little thing has had the sniffles, a cough, and a fever one day.  So anyway, at the end of the week she only attended daycare twice, Tuesday and Friday.  (Thanks TONS to Aunt Janice and Granna for helping us this week) Leaving her Tuesday morning at daycare was soooo hard.  I will just admit it, I cried when I handed her over and I cried all the way to work and then went to visit her on my lunch break….. and yes they had not managed to harm her in any way.

Hopefully Kate will start to feel better soon, the doc said middle of next week.  Kory and I both are hoping for sooner.  We really need and want our baby girl that sleeps 9-10 hours at night back!

Before I get to the pics, I want to ask everyone a question:  Where do I go to pick up my SuperMom powers??  I seem to be missing them….

Laura, you are given your "SuperMom" powers fresh and new each day. Kate has already told me that you are doing a great job and she is lucky to have you for a Mommy. I’ll share some of the other things we talk about later!!! She is already so smart.
