Things going on

As Kory said yesterday, Kate is recovering from the flu.  We went back to the doctor this morning so she could check her before the weekend.  Considering she has the swine flu, Kate is doing good.  She went without fever for the most part all day yesterday, so hopefully she is on the quick road to recovery.

It has been a while since I posted so I need to note a few milestones for documentation sake.  Thursday a week ago Kory and I decided we could officially say that Kate is crawling….it may look like she is in the army, but she gets where she wants to go nonetheless.  This Tuesday evening she started clapping….it is the cutest thing!!  And last night she starting trying to pull up using something other than my hands…first the baby gate and then her bed….both ended with her crying but she gave it a good effort

This past weekend we all got dressed up and Kory’s brother got married and Kory and I gained a sister and Kate an Aunt…..we were all in our finest and did not take the first picture!!!  Shame, shame, shame on me!!  I found Kate an adorable dress and coat (outside wedding), so we are definitely going to have to stage a photo shoot once she feeling better.

We have had so many things going on lately that I am sorry to say that I do not have the first picture to share with ya’ll    Hopefully I can get some good ones so everyone can see how much she is growing.  She weighed almost 19 pounds this morning!
