Kate turned .75 years old on Sunday (that is how Kory put it) and today she went for her wellness check up. She weighs 19 pounds and is 27 1/8 inches long. Despite all of her sickness she is moving right along on the growth chart. Yay!! We took some pictures this evening and I am hoping Kory will post the favorites.
It has been eventful since my last post. Friday ended up being a crazy day with the entire city of Ruston losing power. I had to pick Kate up from daycare at 10:30 and she came to work with me for a bit (in the dark) and then we spent the afternoon at home….very nice surprise. Saturday, Halloween, we took Kate “trick or treating” in her adorable cow costume. She was not very social, but what she lacked in enthusiasm she made up for in cuteness.
Saturday night Kory and I got to go to a Halloween party where we made our Smurf debut…..we were rockin’ smurfs! Sunday Kate and Kory (I was sick) ventured over to Talullah for Mamaw’s 90th birthday party….. WOW 90!!!
So it was a very busy weekend for Kate. Hopefully the shyness/stranger anxiety will pass quickly.
Now for some pictures of the past few days.
